Pam’s love of Africa

Pamela's interest in photography began more than 40 years ago when she was living in a small town in Upstate New York. As her three children grew older she decided to learn more about photography in order to better record her family’s adventures and growth.

When she moved to the United Kingdom in 1992, Pamela began to formally study photography as a career course. She successfully completed eight Cities and Guilds photographic modules, achieving top honors. These included: Introduction to Color, Photographing Buildings, Landscape Photography, Photo Essay, Action & Movement, Social Documentary, Introduction to Black and While Photography and Portraiture. Subsequently she was asked to teach Portraiture and assist with Landscape Photography. A special photographic love in those days was England’s Ancient Oak Trees and Avebury’s and Stonehenge Rocks.

Then came Africa and her love of seeing the animals and life in the countries there....and that love will last forever.
